During the summer of 2018 I took residence in the same neighborhood as Venice Pizza. At first I was hesitant towards the dive bar/ pizza joint with no particular theme. Along with the limited Seating. The persistent flyers left in my door offering a $8.99 large pie special, gave me reason to visit the pizza joint with limited seating. After a few visits, I had to admit. The pizza was good. Really good. Especially with only one cook and one bartender running the establishment most of times.
One of my final reviews of 2018 credited that same neighborhood for being a village of opportunity. A statement directed for the residents of that neighborhood to thrive.
Five months later I returned to that neighborhood and resisted my pizza joint of choice. Upon my return Venice Pizza was still a quiet neighborhood joint run by one bartender as the same cook named Darnell. Despite being understaffed, and despite the late night hours. Darnell's consistency was the key ingredient to Venice Pizza's special pies. His consistent smile. His consistent positive attitude. And his consistent work ethics. Values which our country of opportunity has based itself on. -

My second delivery order. I had to revise my review and take away 2 stars. As I looked at my receipt, I see all the extra charges on my receipt. Now I know there was a 2.99 delivery charge, chicken fingers were 7.99, greek salad 8.99 and a '2.00' credit card charge(What the heck is this?), plus 1.57 tax. This order turned out to be a whopping 23.54!
Food was really good, arrived way before the estimated time and the delivery girl was super nice.
But, I doubt I will order delivery from here again. If I order in future, I will go pick it up myself. -

Gotten a flyer under my hotel door and decided to try this place as it is a minute walk away. Ordered online for pickup twice and both times the cheesesteak combo with fries and a can of soda came out fresh, hot and tasty. The person manning the counter was friendly and cordial.
However, in the past two weeks the online service stopped abruptly and the doors have been locked during lunch and dinner time hours. No sign on the door or windows about whether the place is closed permanently or temporarily. -

Ordered here three times over a few days. I ordered medium wings well done with extra sauce on the side. I get my order with no sauce and the most rubbery wings I've ever had. My wife then does it the next day same order to see if they could get it right. Again same issue. Apparently they don't know how to read instructions. So I gave them a final chance. I called my order in made specifically to mention I wanted my wings well done and extra sauce on the side. Third strike. This place doesn't care about your order only the money they are making. I'm never one to bash or bring back food but that is exactly what I did. Stay away from this "pizza" shop

The reviews are all true. If you want on time and WARM and TASTY food, find somewhere else.
Delivery drive late, pizza COLD, wings COLD.
Called to get refund or new pizza, placed on hold. Women who answered was less than helpful and told me she can't do anything without her manager but refused to let me speak with him.
